Join Gilchrist Dental Care in Our Annual Candy Buy Back

October 31st is full of excitement for kids as they scatter throughout the neighborhood, trick or treating and stuffing themselves with sweets. Once Halloween is over, there is usually a lot of candy left over and the potential for a cavity to develop in their mouth. Do something different with the excess candy this year.

Gilchrist Dental Care in Stevens Point is hosting their annual Candy Buy Back on November 1st from 4–6 pm. Here is how it works:

Your kids can bring in their extra candy from trick or treating to our dental office to receive $1 per pound (limit 5 pounds), a new toothbrush, and enter to win great prizes! The candy we buy back is shipped to Operation Gratitude for soldiers on active duty to enjoy! This is one way Gilchrist Dental Care helps protect young children's developing teeth from decay AND gives something sweet to our service members. It is a win-win all around!

Our annual Candy Buy Back program is also a great opportunity for your kids. It can be hard for children to limit themselves or let go of candy, even if they know they should not eat it all. Explain to them that they can still enjoy trick or treating, still get some candy, and get to earn some spending money on the side; you will surely win them over! It can also be exciting for your child to collect candy while trick or treating when they know that it can translate to cash.

To participate in our annual Candy Buy Back, bring your unopened, uneaten candy to Gilchrist Dental Care in Stevens Point Wednesday, November 1st between 4–6 pm.
